Trust the Lord with all your heart, and don't depend
on your own understanding.

Remember the Lord in all you do, and he will give you success.
Proverbs 3:5-6 NCV

The church is not merely the building on the corner of Roosevelt and Wilson Avenues.  The church is a community of believers in Jesus Christ, a family of faith, a group of people who have chosen to come together to love God and each other.  And that has made all the difference.
We invite you to join us as we walk with the Lord,  helping one another along, sharing our lives, faith, hope and love.

EVERY SUNDAY – Sunday School 9:45 a.m. – Worship Services 10:45 a.m. and 7 p.m.
EVERY WEDNESDAY – Prayer and Bible Study 7:30 p.m.
EVERY SATURDAY – Men's prayer breakfast 8 a.m.

THE TIME IS NOW
"This very day, God is giving you a great spiritual opportunity. It may be to trust in Christ for salvation.  It may be to deal with some sin in your life.  It may be to get your priorities in line.  Hear His Word. Seize the day for God's glory!" –Steven J. Cole

Believe in God
Picture
“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God…” - Psalm 14:1

Can a person find God by reasoning? No. We are incapable of proving God. Sometimes an atheist will say to a believer, “Prove there is a God.” That never threatens me. I just smile and say, “Prove there is no God.” Sometimes it’s leveled against Christians as though it’s an accusation: “You just accept by faith there’s a God.” That’s right. And let me tell you what the unbeliever does. He accepts by faith there is no God. He does not know there is no God. He has never proven there is no God. He accepts by faith there is no God.

Some of the finest minds this world has ever known have been given to the gospel of Christ. It’s not a matter of intellect. It’s not a matter of reason. It’s beyond reason and above reason.

All men are believers. I choose to believe in God. The atheist chooses not to believe in God. If a man doesn’t believe in God, it’s because he doesn’t want to believe in God. He has chosen not to believe in God. But make no mistake, we’re all believers.

You don’t prove God, and you don’t disprove God. You believe in God. He is the God who is presented, not proven.

The Bible speaks clearly about the value of human life in all stages – including from the beginning.  Today’s ultrasound technology offers us a glimpse into the womb during pregnancy, allowing mothers to connect with their children prior to birth. Live on Purpose!

Intentionally... “Turn your attention and focus on God. Pray for strength to be obedient. Pray for joy when you feel despair. When you feel God prompt you through His Word or the quiet whisper of the Spirit, obey. It is like putting on a blindfold and saying, ‘Okay God, lead. I’m following.’
Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). That life is available in the midst of and through every hardship and circumstance. Don’t miss it. “

–Trent & Carla Anne Coroy
     LIVE ON PURPOSE!

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD, And He delights in his way." Ps. 37:23 The word "ordered" in this passage can have a similar meaning to "ordering" food at a restaurant. You order as much as you can eat at that time. God orders our steps - steps we are able to take at that time. We do not need to create a plan for our lives ... we only need to fit into the perfect plan He already has for each of us ... one step at a time! Today, make it a priority to seek the Lord for His divine direction.  LIVE ON PURPOSE!

"Our life will not be neutral. We will either point others away from God or show them that allegiance to God is important. Let's make an intentional effort today to shine the light of God's holiness and grace in all we do and say.

Prayer: O God, may the words of my mouth, the actions of my life, and the influence of my deeds show others your holiness and grace and lead them to acknowledge your majesty and might. In Jesus name I pray. Amen."
